About me:

My name is Dan Stefan Poka and I had a marvelous childhood growing up in the countryside of Romania. With guidance from my grandmother, I was picking wild mushrooms, ramsons and sorrel in the forest near her home by the age of 10.
That said, my passion for foraging only really came later in life. Importantly, I started to use what I foraged in my cooking, and this made foraging that much more fun and meaningful.
